Blackpool's World Famous Illuminations, a Spectacle not to be missed.
When other seaside resorts go into winter hibernation, Blackpool becomes a seaside city of fun, buzzing with excitement and laughter. Our hotel has a sauna and spa and, if the Irish sea is to for you, a heated swimming pool. It has splendid sea views, comfortable bar and cabaret lounge and is situated conveniently close to Blackpools town centre for all the shops, bars and restaurants, all three piers and, of course, the famous Blackpool Tower. People ask "Where did the Royal Tournament from London go to?" Well it came here to the N.E.C Stadium in Birmingham. Now known as The Birmingham Military Tattoo it's just as loud, just as exciting, and just as proud as it always was. You'll have time for your evening meal in the hotel before we set off for the evening performance of the tattoo.
On Sunday, after breakfast, you'll have all day to explore Birminghams famous shopping centre, The bull Ring and their Frankfurt, German Christmas Market. Over 180 stalls, selling all kinds of traditional, German Christmas goods, from decorations and wooden toys, ceramic gifts and jewellery to chocolates, mulled wine and beer.
